Networking

time-graph

Sharing vision, strengths, and difficulties with others lays the foundation for collaborative partnerships that God can use to increase the scope and pace of His mission.

That's why about 65% of the planned schedule has different ways for you to find and build connections. And that doesn't include other opportunities like breakfast meetings or after-hours gatherings.

Schedule

The 2022 Forum starts on Tuesday, October 4 at 9 am and ends on Thursday, October 6 at 12pm. A welcome and dessert reception will be held on Monday at 7 pm (US Central Daylight Time).

Location

Bringing everything together at one location simplifies your travel plans and creates more opportunities to connect with others.

hyatt-regency-bloom

Hyatt Regency Bloomington

3200 E 81st St, Bloomington, MN

Located less than 3 miles from Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (MSP) and about 3/4 miles from the Mall of America, this recently built hotel offers easy access and numerous nearby activities.

Hotel Rooms

The Hyatt Regency Bloomington is completely booked for the dates of the GACX Forum.

GACX has reserved a block of rooms at the nearby Cambria Hotel Bloomington for $120/night (plus tax). A free shuttle is available from MSP airport.

The hotel is about a 10-minute from the Hyatt Regency Bloomington. GACX is also working on arrangements for a shuttle.

Getting There

Light Rail

A 4-5 minute trip from Terminal 1 or 2 at MSP.  Service is available every 12-20 minutes between 3:30 am and 11:45 pm daily, and a one-way ticket is $2.25. Take the Metro Blue Line towards Mall of America, and get off at the Bloomington Central stop - the hotel just is a few hundred feet away.

Shuttle

Hyatt Regency offers a free shuttle to and from the MSP airport.

Common Questions

Networking and collaboration are two key goals of the GACX forum. Participation in the whole event is strongly encouraged for the benefit of all participants.

While a few participants may need to arrive late or depart early, GACX cannot provide any discounts or other adjustments to the registration cost.

General Cancellation
Registration fees are fully refundable for cancellations confirmed 30 days before the event (September 4, 2022). A 50% refund will be provided up to 10 days before the event (September 24, 2022). Unless otherwise stated, there can be no refunds within 10 days of the event.

Full Refunds
All registration fees will be fully refunded if the event is officially canceled for any reason.

A full refund may also be offered if a participant is impacted by a medical emergency in their immediate family or personally (including a diagnosis of COVID or required isolation) and contacts us by the start of the event.

A refund may be provided for international participants who encounter unexpected travel difficulties such as visa issues, canceled flights, quarantine, or other impediments.

Please note that the hotel, airlines, and other travel services may have different cancellation and refund policies; these are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Registration Transfers
Registration may be transferred between participants up to 7 days before the event. The cost difference between registration types may be charged (e.g. member rate compared to the spouse rate).

GACX reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the event team, to cancel and refund the registration of any participant deemed a reasonable risk to the health or safety of others in attendance.

GACX is unable to provide registration discounts, scholarships, or other financial assistance to students or international participants.

International participants that have a relationship with a US-based organization should first attempt to secure a letter of invitation through that organization.

GACX will only issue a letter of invitation for individuals affiliated with a member organization.  Letters of invitation issued by GACX can only support travel to and from Minneapolis, and only cover the dates necessary to attend the forum.

Please note: COVID-related requirements for entry into the United States may change at any time. Current information is available from the US State Department (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel.html)
